a cardboard box lid
resembles cat vomit seen
without my glasses
cannot sleep again.
is it my new lot to awaken
with hurting stomach?
is it my body
keeping me from a sound sleep,
or the stress of work?
starting to wonder
if it might not be so bad
to not have a job
